Build Operate Transfer

Building and scaling high-quality remote teams can be complex — especially for large digital agencies and enterprise organizations. Our Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model offers a turnkey solution for setting up and managing dedicated remote teams in Turkey. We take care of the entire process — from recruitment and operations to compliance — and hand over the team once it’s fully established and optimized.

Build

setting up your remote team

A successful remote team starts with the right people. We carefully recruit and select top-tier talent tailored to your project requirements. Whether you need developers, designers, project managers, or IT specialists, we find the perfect fit.

Once the team is assembled, we provide structured onboarding and training to ensure seamless alignment with your workflows, processes, and company culture. We also handle local infrastructure — from office space and equipment to all necessary facilities in Turkey — so you can stay focused on scaling your business.

Operate

daily management & performance optimization

Once your team is up and running, we take over daily operations. This includes HR, payroll, and compliance management, freeing you from legal complexities or administrative burdens.

We continuously monitor team performance to meet agreed KPIs. When needed, we scale the team, optimize workflows, or offer additional training and process improvements — ensuring your team performs at its best and remains aligned with your business objectives.

Transfer

full ownership transition

When your remote team is fully integrated and operating efficiently, we transfer ownership to your organization. You gain full control over a team that fits seamlessly into your internal structure.

If needed, we support the legal transition and help you establish your own entity in Turkey, including compliance with local laws and regulations. This ensures a structured, low-risk handover — giving you immediate access to your own high-quality remote team.

Frequently asked questions
In order to answer the most frequently asked questions about TaaS we have created a FAQ sheet. If you can’t find your question in this sheet, or if you need additional information, feel free to contact us at any time.

While the BOT model is designed to transfer ownership of the team after the "operate" phase, you are not obligated to proceed with the transfer. If your strategic direction changes during the engagement, we can pivot to an alternative arrangement—such as continuing under a managed TaaS model where The TaaS Company retains operational responsibility. In such cases, we’ll jointly evaluate the business rationale and adapt the collaboration accordingly, without pressure, penalties, or buyout clauses.

The "build" phase can be financed in two ways: as a fixed fee—where we agree upfront on a one-time cost covering recruitment, setup, and infrastructure—or via a monthly model, where the costs are spread over the ramp-up period. The structure depends on your budget preferences, the complexity of the setup, and the expected speed of deployment. We're flexible and transparent about both options.

The core legal framework is drafted by The TaaS Company based on best practices around IP ownership, data protection, transferability, and operational liability. However, all terms are fully negotiable. During the planning phase, we review and refine the agreement in consultation with your legal counsel. We work from EU-compliant templates, but adapt easily to industry-specific or jurisdictional requirements.

The transfer is based on performance milestones—not a fixed calendar date. If the team or infrastructure isn’t yet fully aligned with your internal standards, we can extend the "operate" phase. Extensions are handled collaboratively, without penalties or disruption to continuity. Our goal is to transfer only when your team is truly ready to assume ownership, and we remain fully responsible until that point.

Yes, partial transfers are absolutely possible. For example, you might choose to take over the development team while continuing to outsource HR, compliance, or IT infrastructure. We can also phase the transfer—starting with core functions and gradually shifting operational ownership as you scale. Our model is modular by design, so we’ll tailor the structure to your strategic goals and capacity.
